This showed up at the doorstep this morning.
The source of this peat-monster is a bit of an industry secret. Personal tasting notes: smooth with plenty of peat and smoke, iodine undertones, a bit fruity underneath. Reasonably complex. The age isn't listed but I think most put it in the 8 year range. Less smoke kick vs. the Laphroaig (comparo'd to the Quarter-cask bottle I have). Close to Ardbeg, but not quite the BandAid level of iodine. Not green enough to be Caol Ila. Been too long since I've had Lagavulin or Bunnahabhain to give a good assessment. Not Bowmore.
